Johnny Weir season 2008-2009

Hi everybody the most recently new of Johnny is that he going to be in Skate America and NHK Trophy in the season 2008-2009 what do you think about it? Johnny can repit what he did in the past season and take the gold in US National and in the World Championships, i would like to know your opinion bye

Yes, Fanfan asked us to be moderators so we get an extra button to move posts to another topic.
We are not going to Nationals (we are interested in a couple of US skaters only so it wouldn't be worth it) and it seems like we won't make it to Worlds in Los Angeles either. We've had some unexpected expenses.

Dear moderators though the 3 of us speak french (and I do much better than speaking english! ), I really enjoy discussing with you here as well.
If it doesn t bother you, and if you have some time sometimes, please correct my mistakes ! I want to improve !! quickly lol


How many times have you already been to Worlds ?
I just know you were at the GP final, I guessed twice at least, and to COI... Where else ?

As to me, I hope I ll be able to go to 2010 Worlds in my country

Unfortunately, we've never been to Worlds. I wish we had but it is really too expensive. We wanted to go to 4 Continents in Colorado Springs but Johnny was not there so we changed our minds. We've been to the GP finals only once, in Colorado Springs.
We are still hoping to get to Los Angeles, funds permitting. The tickets and hotel rooms are very expensive though.
Yes, my favorite US skaters are still Johnny and Jeremy. The other one would be Rohene Ward. He's really inconsistent but so graceful.
For the ladies, I like Alissa Czisny (because she is a twin), Mirai Nagasu, and Bebe Liang.
If I could afford it, I would go to all competitions. I know some people who go to so many during the season (anywhere in the world), they are so lucky.
